I moved back to GB and spent many years in retail managment and the hotel industry. I knew there was more to life and more to contribute, so I went back to school and got another degree, this time in elementary education. I work as a teacher and in the summer I am a 'parkie' for the GB Parks Department. I'm also taking graduate courses through Viterbo College. For fun, I like to hit the gym, read a good book, and compete in races. I celebrated turning 40 by running in my first marathon and now I'm hooked. I also do the Bellin Run and several other races every year. I've been sober for 12 years and like the changes I've made in my life. I take each day as it comes and try not to stress over everything. I can't control everything that happens to me but I CAN control my reaction to it, right? I'm not married. For some stupid reason, my state and my country doesn't think I deserve the right. Go figure. My advice for living a good life? Since Kurt has worked for a UK company, we have had the good fortune to travel to some unique places. He is starting his own business now and is off to China for two weeks. Even though we live in HotLanta, we all ski as much as we can. We skied Whistler last Christmas and plan to ski Taus, NM this Christmas. I ski yearly with my brothers, to test new equipment at vendor trade shows in Colorado. Such a blast! Don't make it back to GB but maybe once a year to visit family. Lets see...I was asked out by Christine many years ago, we have been married for 27 years now. I finally broke that shyness. I love to talk. Live in Howard WI,,we have 3 children, Stacy Lynn, 24yrs old, lives in Cedar Rapids Iowa, works as a police officer. Casey, 22 yrs old, born with downs syndrome, lives with us and works at Asprio. Trista Lynn now 20, college student. I coached Stacy in soccer for 16 years, went on to play in college. Ran with Trista and over seen her training, she was a D1 cross country state champion in 2003 and took 3rd in the 3200 meter run, fun times! I miss it, so last year I started our own special Olympic agency. I have 16 athletes. I coach in three different sports for now, love it! As for me, yes I have a job, I even love my job but thats not important to you. I ride my bike about 20 miles every morning since my body doesn't allow me to run anymore. Love to hike, have a cabin in Florence cty. do alot of ATVing, traveling,(San Fransico week before the reunion). I still have a beer with Ed Koslowski once a week or so. busy busy. and much much more. Currently I'm responsible for dispatch & logistics duties. Been married since 1985 to Christine (not the one from COACH sitcom). We have three daughters & one son, ranging in age from 15 to 20. Maureen has completed 3yrs. at UWGB studying Environmental Science. She's a great source of technical information pertaining to things that I normally would just shrug my shoulders at and accept. Carolyn just completed freshman year at Lawrence where she's pursuing a double major in music & drama. She plays a mean cello as well as guitar, and performs locally with 3 friends as "Moonbox", a jazz fusion quartet. Our son Tory just graduated from Appleton West High, and will depart 7/23 to San Diego for boot camp in the Marines. I'm definitely going to miss his presence in our house, and sharing views from the male perspective. The youngest, Darcy, will be a sophomore at Appleton west & is enrolled with Renaissance school of the arts. Each of them has mastered one or another foreign language, which I envy, though I'm good at swearing. We're very proud of the numerous talents they possess, and I'm grateful they cumulatively have not caused me as much worry as I had for my folks. I still much enjoy fishing and hunting. When able, we like to spend time at our property between Mountain & Langlade where most of the stresses of life are forgotten. There have been infinite enriching as well as humbling encounters, and I've had first hand observations too remarkable for a camera or words to adequately depict. It's been a great life! I have been married for 28 years, to a great guy, Larry, we live in Green Bay (never lived anywhere else) and have 3 kids. We lost our oldest son Kenny at birth, he was two weeks overdue and just couldn't make it, he would have been 17. Then we have Cody, he is 16, and as my civic duty as a parent I need to warn everyone out there on the roads he does have his license, SCARY!!!! LOL Then we have a 14 yr old daughter Kylie, another scary thing in my life A TEENAGE DAUGHTER, and my mom just laughs!! Actually they are great kids we have been very blessed. They both attend West High School so again i'm back at West roaming the halls and it's still a lot of fun! My husband works at PC and I did daycare in my home for many years, now I work for the Green Bay Public Schools. I'm at Kennedy Elementary as a Noon Hour Supervisor for the past 5 years, it's my dream job, its a blast hanging out with! kids all day, and there's no nights, no weekends and all summer off!!!! | Name= Steve Clark email=srclark@centurytel.net I joined the Navy after school, went into subs. I stayed with that for about eight and one half years. With the education I received from the service I joined up with DTE Energy's Enrico Fermi Nuclear Station in Southeastern Michigan where I have been for over twenty years. I have an NRC license to operate the plant but mostly work with the Operations Support Staff nowadays. I am married with one child. My daughter is almost eleven and enjoys her Drama Club at school as well as traveling with us. We enjoy doing a lot of things now but traveling and taking cruises in our time off of work probably rank the highest. I have looked into the school website and it is kind of surprising (to me) that so many of our classmates are still that involved with each other. It is also very tough to look at the Memorial page as it is so hard to see our own mortality. Again, since being gone , from Wisconsin, since 1977, I don't know if I recognized anyone from the reunion pictures but they do seem to be having a great time at the park.
